Model Dudok

Four-panel

Our Dudok model is characterised by large, rectangular panels—an element that also defines the style of architect Willem Marinus Dudok. He is one of the most renowned architects in Dutch history, celebrated for blending technical precision with artistic flair. This is clearly reflected in our Dudok model.

Influence of the Amsterdam School

Dudok was a unique figure, not easily compared to other architects. Although inspired by Berlage, there are clear distinctions in his work. Born in Amsterdam, he undoubtedly drew influences from his home city and developed his own signature style. This resulted in a form of functional expressionism with block-shaped designs. A prime example of this is one of his masterpieces: the Hilversum Town Hall.

Application of the Dudok steel door

The Dudok panel layout is highly popular and can be found in many homes and businesses. For instance, it features in this beautiful family home in Zutphen. This makes the door incredibly versatile and proves that a classic look with an industrial twist can be achieved with these stunning four-panel doors. Want to learn more about our Dudok model?
