Living by the water is a dream for many. In this villa by the Loosdrechtse Plassen, that dream has become a reality. In this villa, designed by EVE Architects, we installed several double steel pivot doors that beautifully enhance the natural light. The living room, kitchen, and office are all interconnected, yet can be closed off using our steel pivot doors. The home was built by HaBé Bouwen in Stijl. The result is stunning. The Loosdrechtse Plassen is a vast water sports and nature area between Utrecht and Amsterdam. This traditionally built villa enjoys both modern and classic influences. The home was designed to maximise sunlight in every room. Our steel doors play a crucial role in achieving this. Steel pivot doors contribute to a sense of space and increased natural light.
Combination of wood and steel
The steel doors perfectly match the modern design, which combines wood and steel. They connect various spaces and contrast beautifully with the herringbone oak flooring. The chosen doors feature the Rietveld panel layout, a bespoke handle, and our slim profile.
