Unique steel internal façade and pivot doors in modern home
This detached villa has been transformed into a warm and atmospheric home, fully modernised down to the last detail. The house feels inviting and intimate. To connect the various spaces, we installed multiple steel pivot doors and a steel internal façade. The end result is stunning.
Double and single steel pivot doors
As soon as you enter this modern villa, you see the first set of double steel pivot doors. These doors separate the entrance hall from the luxury kitchen. From the kitchen, there’s an open view of the beautiful garden, and it flows seamlessly into the living room. As a partition between the utility room and kitchen, we placed a single steel pivot door. We also installed double steel doors between the kitchen and the playroom. All doors feature the Gropius panel layout and the elegant recessed grip.
Steel wall seamlessly blending into the wall
The steel wall between the home office and playroom is the ultimate example of how steel doors create openness while still defining separate spaces. The rooms are visually connected via the bookcase, herringbone floor, and wall colours. To create separation, a large steel internal façade with two pivot doors was installed. Tinted glass was chosen for this installation. The steel façade blends seamlessly into the wall and is a beautiful addition to the atmospheric interior.
The project was carried out by WJ Projects.
