DRM-G4 – Osiris Hertman

This unique handle was designed by renowned designer and long-time collaborator Osiris Hertman. Characteristic of Osiris's approach is his vision of doors as "jewellery for your home". The door hardware he designed is inspired by the symmetrical handles found on antique Chinese cabinets. "These recognisable steel or copper-forged handles stand out as a metal plate at the centre of the red wood," the designer explains. The result is a distinctive handle that sparks the imagination.

Our Mallet model is supplied as standard with this stunning handle. In practice, we often see customers choosing double steel doors for this handle. However, this door hardware is also perfectly suited for single doors, as seen here in Katwijk.

A special project where this door hardware was used can also be found in Alkmaar. This magnificent apartment exudes atmosphere. From the custom-made flooring to the marble kitchen countertop, every detail is just right — including the door hardware. In this home, the doors truly serve as jewellery for the house.
