Model Cuypers
Four-panelArchitect Pierre Cuypers designed, among other works, the Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands. With great attention to detail, he created some of the country’s most iconic buildings. As his work always focused on handcrafted interiors combined with expressive and imaginative forms, we found it fitting to name our asymmetrical four-panel layout after him.

Doors as part of a greater whole
Steel doors are part of a greater whole: an interior. This defined Cuypers’ work—and now also our steel doors. In addition to the Rijksmuseum, Cuypers was also involved in the renovation of the Ridderzaal in The Hague. You can find his expressive style, for example, in the throne from which the King delivers the annual Speech from the Throne.
Application of the Cuypers steel door
Over the years, we have enhanced many homes with this beautiful steel door model. Take, for example, this stylish home in Amstelveen, where the Cuypers panel layout creates a stunning play of lines through the natural light. In this elegant townhouse near Hoorn, the result is a beautiful outcome that radiates tranquillity while still stimulating the senses. Would you like to see our Cuypers panel layout in person? You are most welcome in our showroom in Veenendaal. Here, you’ll find steel doors with leather, a bronze finish, or even a patinated gold layer.
