Steel pivot doors in Ederveen
The residents of this home in Ederveen wanted a warm, country-style atmosphere. Natural materials such as wood, stone, and thatch were combined with our bespoke steel interior doors. Our custom steel doors provide access to the hallway with a toilet and utility room, while two other pivot doors connect to the main living space. As a result, daylight is distributed throughout the home, giving every space an open and inviting feel. The doors feature a 4-panel asymmetrical Cuypers layout.

Using a black pivot cover plate makes the mechanism even less noticeable. We work exclusively with the FritsJurgens pivot system for its unmatched quality. The pivot mechanism not only operates flawlessly but is also finished to perfection. It’s designed to be virtually invisible and integrated into the door, so no large holes are required in the floor – keeping your steel doors the true focal point.
Double and single doors
The home features numerous custom design elements, such as bespoke wooden beams, integrated wall lighting, and elegant steel accents. The living space connects openly to the kitchen but can be closed off with the custom pivot doors in glass and steel. The double doors are equipped with the DRM-G3 edge pull, and a single steel door with fixed side panel was placed at the entrance, fitted with the DRM-G2 pull handle. The contrast between the sleek steel doors and the natural stone flooring is particularly striking.
