Steel doors in striking villa designed by Osiris Hertman
Since 2016, we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Osiris Hertman. He has designed stunning handles, which we proudly produce for our clients. This project once again showcases Osiris’s exceptional talent for interior design – and of course, our De Rooy Metaaldesign doors are an integral part of it. Some of the photos of this residence were taken by Jurrit van der Waal and featured in The Art of Living magazine.

It’s no surprise that Osiris can turn any house into a dream home. This residence is truly impressive – from the bamboo façade and stylish indoor-outdoor fireplace to the bold colours in the spacious kitchen, the variety of materials, and of course, the beautiful doors that complete the look.
Doors are important to Osiris. As he mentioned earlier, doors are like jewellery for a home: “You look at them every day, just like your furniture. That’s why I advise people to allocate more budget to custom doors during a renovation – doors are an essential part of the interior.” He certainly paid attention to the doors in this home.

Naturally, Osiris opted for De Rooy Metaaldesign doors fitted with his own signature handle (DRM-G4). The design was inspired by the symmetrical handles on antique Chinese cabinets. Osiris also chose the DRM-P10 profile, and the doors are finished in Jet Black (RAL 9005).
