Steel sliding and hinged doors in Nijkerk
In this home in Nijkerk, we installed an original sliding door and hinged door. The client designed a custom panel layout inspired by the geometric lines of Mondrian.

as a work of art
To highlight the unique design, the frames were custom-made. The bars were made using DRM-P10 Rank profiles. Uniquely, the door features a handle on only one side, allowing it to slide completely over the wall and double as a piece of art. It is finished in a matte Graphite Black colour (RAL 9011), which contrasts nicely with the light wall.
Handles by
Piet Boon
The hinged door was made using DRM-P20 profiles for the frames and DRM-P10 profiles for the bars. For the door hardware, we used stainless steel DRM-G5 handles from the Piet Boon One collection. These handles, designed by Piet Boon—a renowned Dutch furniture and interior designer—match the same Graphite Black matte finish as the sliding door.
