Hinged doors at Royal Van Lent Shipyard
A beautiful project on Kaageiland at shipbuilder Royal Van Lent Shipyard. Here, we installed several Dudok hinged doors. A hinged door opens to one side and is attached to the side of the frame. Hinges are a simple yet proven door fixture. The entire setup is finished in a Bronze Black Metallic fine texture coating, which pairs perfectly with the dark interior of the building.
Slender profiles
and Piet Boon handles
The doors are made from the slender DRM-P10 Rank profile. This elegant profile makes the glass surface appear larger. It pairs beautifully with the DRM-G5 handles, designed by Piet Boon, a Dutch furniture and interior designer. Piet Boon’s designs are minimalist and groundbreaking—just like our steel doors. The clean lines in his work match seamlessly with our door designs.
