Mondrian-inspired steel door with Glairon glass
The first eye-catcher in this stunning Barneveld home is found in the entrance hall. A bespoke steel door provides access to the inviting living area. Inspired by Piet Mondrian and featuring exclusive Glairon glass, this steel door sets the tone for the entire interior and gives the home a warm, welcoming feeling.
Steel door with
Glairon glass
On the ground floor, the living areas are interconnected into one large open space. Changes in flooring subtly define each area’s function. The materials and colour palette are perfectly coordinated, creating a sense of calm and luxury. The full-height steel pivot door blends seamlessly with the warm hues of the home. Unique to this door is the use of Glairon glass—a layered type of glass containing a fine metal mesh. Learn more about Glairon glass possibilities.
Mondrian-inspired steel door
This steel door was designed by Toke Peelen of Peelen Interieur. It pays tribute to Mondrian’s composition of red, yellow, black, grey, and blue. For this door, Peelen selected a specific detail from the famous artwork. The result is a distinctive, contemporary steel door with a custom panel layout that fits perfectly within the interior, which was realised by ExactBouw.
