Steel doors in atmospheric apartment
In the South Holland town of Zwijndrecht, we installed a set of steel doors in a beautiful new apartment. In this home, old and new elements are combined seamlessly. Antique furniture is contrasted with modern features such as the kitchen. The steel doors preserve the home’s open character, allowing stunning views of the Oude Maas from the hallway.
Calm and space
Interieur Paauwe was tasked with transforming this bare apartment into a true home – and they succeeded beautifully. The apartment feels sleek, welcoming, and atmospheric, thanks to the use of soft colours. Calm and space were central to the design, with careful attention paid to the exceptional view of the Oude Maas. Our steel doors enhance this feeling. They create openness, giving the space a wide, yet cosy feel.
Openness through steel doors
The steel doors feature a Dudok panel layout, contributing to a calm and open appearance. The pivot doors are equipped with the high-quality FritsJurgens pivot system, subtly integrated into the floor and nearly invisible. The doors are finished with a DRM-P10 profile and the hidden DRM-G1 handle. The coating is a matt Jet Black (RAL 9005).
