The open character of steel doors, but with a touch of privacy? That was the wish of the residents of this beautiful home in Abcoude. The steel doors here are fitted with tinted glass. The doors are installed in two areas of the home: between the hallway and the kitchen, and between the bedroom and bathroom. The result is stylish steel doors that perfectly match the interior and give a luxurious feel.

When choosing our steel doors, you’ll have a wide range of options. From the pivot system to the handle – everything is bespoke. This also applies to the glass. All our steel doors are fitted with safety glass by Saint Gobain Glass. This glass is extremely strong and is available in a variety of finishes, including frosted glass or, as in this home, tinted glass. And what about leather instead of glass? That’s also possible!
Double and single steel doors
Our double steel Dudok doors are a true highlight in the large kitchen cabinetry. They provide a beautiful separation between the hallway and the kitchen. The finely finished steel contrasts elegantly with the wooden wall and the concrete kitchen island, creating a harmonious design. Between the bedroom and bathroom, there is a single steel door with two fixed panels. Every detail has been carefully considered – the black bathroom tiles and the black bathtub form a perfect match with our steel doors. The doors feature the Dudok panel layout, DRM-G3 edge pull, and pivot system. The home was designed by Studio Kees Marcelis.
