Michel Polak was an architect with a strong affinity for luxury. He mastered many architectural styles and effortlessly combined Art Deco, classical architecture, and modernism. With his extensive knowledge of materials, he knew exactly how to apply them in his designs. Our asymmetrical three-panel layout reflects Polak’s style perfectly.

One of the great names of the Interwar period

Several stunning Art Deco homes in Brussels were designed by Michel Polak. These projects showcased his ability to respond to the needs of his clients while blending multiple styles. In Villa Empain, for instance, luxury, rare, and exotic materials come together beautifully. Polak is also known for the Résidence Palace: the first luxury apartment complex in Brussels, which at the time was the largest of its kind in Europe.
