Clean lines, simple, and highly functional
Gropius believed that better architecture would lead to better living environments and ultimately a better world. He aimed for a complete unity of the arts, arguing that art had become too far removed from society. His institute sparked a design revolution that still has many followers today. Notable buildings he was involved in include the University of Baghdad and the John F. Kennedy Federal Building in Boston.
Application of the Gropius steel door
At Alphenberg in Waalwijk, everything revolves around a passion for leather. Their showroom exudes luxury and showcases the endless possibilities of leather. On both sides of the entrance, fixed panels were installed with the lower section finished in red leather. We also installed double steel doors with the Gropius panel layout in Rijnsburg. The three narrow and two large glass panels together create a look that blends classic and modern elements—perfectly complementing the interior.
