Model Delune

Six-panel

One of the great names of the Art Nouveau period was Ernest Delune. This artistic movement was marked by innovation and a modernising world. Delune’s eclectic style combined various historical styles and movements. This is reflected in a stunning composition of asymmetrical panels, just like the layout of our Delune door.

Eclectic architect

Delune was an architect renowned for his free-spirited style. He blended many historical currents and artistic movements. Some of his works are entirely in Art Nouveau style, such as the house he built in Rue de Lac in Ixelles. Towards the end of his career, he also designed buildings inspired by the Art Deco philosophy. A recurring element in his work was the use of unevenly divided panels.
