Steel doors and bespoke cabinetry in perfect alignment
In this spacious waterside home, every element of the interior has been carefully coordinated. Despite its generous proportions, the home feels warm and inviting. A striking feature is the open shelving unit that extends across the entire width of the property, with our Linea steel doors positioned at its centre. The doors form the focal point of the wall, offering a view from the entrance through to the living area and the garden beyond.
Matching lines, one cohesive design
What immediately stands out is how the panel layout of the steel doors aligns with the open shelving. The horizontal and vertical lines follow the dimensions of the cabinetry, making the doors appear as though they are part of the same piece of furniture. This geometric interplay of lines is characteristic of the Linea model, designed exclusively for De Rooy Steel Doors by Kees Marcelis. The same sense of harmony is reflected in the choice of colours. The Bronze Metallic finish and bronze-tinted glass complement the warm tones of the cabinetry beautifully.
Uninterrupted views of the water
The central position of the steel doors creates another beautiful effect. The entrance, living area and garden are aligned, allowing you to appreciate the depth of the home as soon as you step inside. Even when the doors are closed, the view remains unobstructed through the bronze-tinted glass. When opened, the doors create an even more seamless connection between the entrance, the garden and the water beyond.
