A door as a design statement
The design process for Linea began with countless sketches in which Kees Marcelis experimented with lines and glass surfaces to find a harmonious balance. The result is a door that is not only functional but also makes a visual statement. The use of different materials, such as glass and wood with linear structures, creates a unique appearance that offers both openness and privacy. Read more about the design process here.
Application of the steel door Linea
Linea is highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of interior styles, from modern homes to stylish office spaces. In Studio Kees Marcelis, a double steel Linea door was installed featuring special linear glass surfaces in a fresh grey-blue hue, harmonising with the studio’s colour palette. In addition, a bronze variant was developed, in which glass and wooden panels with linear structures alternate.
