Some interior elements do more than serve their function. They draw attention, tell a story, and elevate a space. Steel doors are the perfect example—especially when tailor-made. In this blog, we take you through five projects where steel doors truly stand out as eye-catchers.

Bronze that carries the space

In a contemporary home in Amstelveen, a steel sliding door in a deep Bronze Metallic coating was chosen. The door connects the entrance and the living area with a certain grandeur. The warm bronze tones blend perfectly with the interior’s earthy hues, while the slim profile adds elegance and lightness. The result is a door that’s inviting, stylish, and full of character.

Geometry in balance

Some doors resemble design objects more than interior elements—such as this double steel door. The rhythm of solid panels and glass sections creates a harmonious interplay of lines. The Royor Brushed Bronze finish adds a soft, warm, almost silky glow that gives the design an extra sense of luxury. A true architectural statement, right at the heart of the home.

Wood and steel

In collaboration with Wonderwall Studios, a unique pivot door was created: steel paired with bog oak, processed in graphic lines. The natural texture of the wood contrasts beautifully with the sleek steel. Behind its minimalist appearance lies a technical masterpiece, with a hidden pivot system that ensures whisper-quiet, smooth movement.

Mondriaan with a twist

For a residence in Barneveld, we crafted a pivot door with a nod to Mondrian. Clean divisions in steel frame the distinctive Glairon glass, which features a subtle metallic texture. The result is understated yet expressive. The kind of door that makes you stop and take notice.

Light, air, and serene luxury

White steel and textured glass: the perfect combination! In a project by interior architect Francine Meerveld, double white steel sliding doors form the transition between the dining room and the living area. They create calm and rhythm while allowing natural light to flow freely through the home. This is custom craftsmanship at its best: powerful in its simplicity, flawless in execution.
