A great partnership with Diane Interieurontwerp
In many of our projects, we collaborate with architects and interior designers to create the most exceptional doors. One such recent collaboration was with Diane Bekkers, owner of Diane Interieurontwerp. Diane was responsible for the interior design and styling of a modern country house in Nuenen, North Brabant. To highlight the beautiful sightlines in this home, she chose our steel doors. Read more about Diane’s inspiration and her experience working with De Rooy Metaaldesign.

enhance the sightline
“During my internship at B-TOO, I came into contact with this newly built home. After graduating, I started my own design studio and was asked to take on the interior design and styling of this villa,” says Diane. “What makes this home special is that it has one long sightline — from the back door to the front door. At a certain point in the design process, you have to choose doors. The decision to go with steel doors was made quickly: the steel and the dark colour of the door (RAL 9005) provide a beautiful contrast with the light tones used in the rest of the home.”
Family business
Diane began her search for steel doors on Google. That quickly led her to our website. Diane: “The website of De Rooy Metaaldesign is very clear and full of information.
