De Rooy Steel Doors x Hoeshmand Mahmoed

In 2026, the collaboration between De Rooy and Hoeshmand Mahmoed of HMVD Architecten began with a design for steel doors in The Loft by Hoeshmand. This inspiring design space was presented during The Art of Living in Rosmalen. Hoeshmand says: ‘The Eclipse design consists of two double steel doors with the same design, yet with a completely different appearance. One family, two doors. For the bedroom, more wood and less glass were chosen. This creates privacy and calm. For the bathroom, by contrast, more glass was used, so that the freestanding bath and natural stone remain visible.’ Speaking about the collaboration with De Rooy, Hoeshmand says: ‘What I like most about working with De Rooy is the communication. Always refined and professional.’
